BREO complex in the part of navigation tasks provides:
• piloting in pre-set range of speeds and altitudes in all modes of the helicopter control;
• piloting the helicopter in all flight modes along CIS air ways, as well as international
airlines in the following conditions (visual flight rules and track indicator, day-and-night,
normal and adverse weather conditions, over plain, hilly and mountain terrain, over water
areas without reference points);
• displaying the route on electronic moving-map display providing change of image scale
and number of imaged layers;
• storage of data on waypoints, airfields, radio ranges and routes in energy-independent
memory;
• autonomous automated solving of navigation tasks with programming the route and
accomplishing correction of helicopter attitude current coordinates.

Implementation of operation status control and aggregates operating time control tasks is the main intellectual repletion of control and diagnostic system, and based on analytic introduction of interconnection of systems' mode characteristics and generation of graphical-textual imaging on multifunctional color displays (MFCD). Pilot can perform indication of concrete system parameters by pushing an appropriate MFCD button, or it can be performed algorithmically by results of functional control of parameters' condition and signals of systems. Therefore, the Mi-26T helicopter with upgraded BREO Complex has become a helicopter of day-and-night application with expanded spectrum of missions to be accomplished.
