Chiangmai Bus from the airport right around town for 50baht. It will start around the left side then run right around to the right side and back again every 20 minutes. Many stops on the way to and from the airport. Free wifi on board & a good alternative to catching a taxi or songtaew. |

Chiangmai Airport: Going to Chiangmai the airport has many choices for tourists to go to the city. You can catch the airport taxis or the normal yellow and blue taxis. Prices range around 120-150baht to go into town but if your quick you may get a tutktuk outside the airport min 100 baht. The red songtaews will try for 50-100 baht for the unwary but normally they charge a min 20baht. Now we have the new buses started at 20baht a trip. Ideal is you dont have too much luggage but worth it. Do not take lifts from any touts inside or outside the airport thinking you will get a cheap deal. Theres no such thing?? as the buses didnt have enought folk using them so stopped |
