O'REILLEYS another Irish pub past Patpong Rd looking towards Robinson Department Store, MacDonalds on Silom Rd
	DELANEY'S Irish Pub in Bangkok and like Delaney's in Pattaya on 2nd Rd delaneys@ptty.loxinfo.co.th 218/2-4 Royal Garden Plaza. Classy with leather sofas, dark wood, with draft Carlsberg, Guinness and draft Killkenny, a little expensive due to imports, but they both have a few ales on tap. Some good food Irish stew @ 330 baht; full breakfast in Pattaya for 95 baht. Delaney's is pricey.
BEER GARDEN Sukhumvit Soi 7. Great meeting place for expats with a large circle egg shaped bar & the place for visitors to Bangkok. Loads of girls in the afternoon with more coming in at night. A good place to have a beer and even a meal with nice German menu but Thai owned - pick-up joint but ask the price first before you take. Full of freelancers.
GULLIVERS PUB: Sukhumvit Soi 5 is the in place for nice surrounds, nice woman, pool tables and a real pub. This Pub is huge and the latest fad & blows any other pub to bits. There are no scatter brains here & even the girls are professional. The service is excellent, the Pub safe and you can view the Chevy car circling the bar. This place is huge, air con, & Ok during the day with FREE internet (broadband), good food & hard to beat for a nice cool beer or watching a big screen or whatever. .	THE BULLS HEAD On Sukhumvit Rd towards The Emporium on Soi 33/1. A popular spot for the expat community.
CHEQUERS BAR Soi 4 on Sukhumvit Rd. Past Nana Plaza and at the end of the block. Owned by an Englishman, and it is the "official" Thailand HQ for The Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club. Kilkenny in cans, imported English food.	f the Landmark Hotel shopping plaza. Some girls hang about there & they have bands; namely Filipino. The food and prices are Ok too but it may be worth a look.
	BOURBON STREET A USA New Orleans Bar just like the real Bourbon St down there. OK food & economy hotel rooms! Sukhumvit Soi 22/Washington Square. Most taxi drivers will know this as Washington Square, although the Washington Theatre is now a gay cabaret show!
LARRY'S BAR & GRILL in Sukhumvit Soi 22. It features the only "beach" in Bangkok. Diving trips daily with adjoining dive shop. There's a sign in the window that says "Warm Beer, Lousy Food, Slow Service, and Cold Women" Give it a blast.
	HENRY J BEAN'S BAR & GRILL 2 joints in Bangkok, 1 in Pattaya. At the Amari Airport Hotel and The Amari Watergate on Petburi Road near Pantip Plaza.
HARD ROCK CAFE Siam Square, just by the Skytrain Central Station. Give it a miss. The Le Meridien Hotel and opposite Amarin Plaza on Ploenchit Road. Planet Hollywood was here --- Arnold, Sylvesters, Demi Moore & hubby brucey went bust here.
	BAMBOO BAR Sukhumvit Soi 3. Has a pool bar with pizzas and a band. Always something happening there but its the worst joint for drinks???.Very expensive joint: 100baht =Diet coke; 200baht = Bicardi Breeze; Coke -75baht as dear as the go go bars if not worse.
HALF MOON STREET at the left/rear of Times Square shopping Mall, opposite Sukhumvit Soi 17 and Robinson Department Store. Enter via Times Square. Various beers including canned Boddington's. Inexpensive food, both Thai and European. A live band plays most nights or every night..	CAT HOUSE 1st Floor Nana Plaza. Sukhumvit Soi 4. Close to Nana Plaza and the walking traffic.

JOOLS Sukhumvit Soi 4. Up to you but gets a bit dear for the drinks for me. The food at the bar and upstairs is OK	THE SHIP. Sukhumvit Soi 23.Just off Soi. Cowboy this can be a popular place

BOBBY'S ARMS, (British) 25 years in Bangkok in 2000! inside the multi storey car park on Patpong Good food, imported Guinness, with assorted canned imported ales.	BARBICAN Thaniya Road near Thaniya Plaza. Parallel with Patpong 1 & 2, near Robinson Department Store on Silom Road. Look for The Barbican about half-way up on the right. Unusual decor, and theme, Draft Guinness, and large portions of decent food. A live (almost) DJ playing "salsa" music.

SOI 22 you have the Texas bar and the Lone Star bar / restaurants US cowboy owned and are actually OK. The Lone Star & Texas has girls and the small bars have good burgers and meals plus always has the local expats for chitchat. OK for a difference and definitely if youre a yank.	TRY SOI 7/1 with the Down Under Bar and Bo Bo bar. This street is going to be the next Night club, bar spot.

Soi 33 Sukhumvit: & its Bars and Clubs

Londoner Brew Pub Their own brewed beer. Food Ok,happy hour offers 2 for 1, BUT only on their brew. Try Carlsberg & Heineken draft. Only six local micro breweries in Bangkok but they have good beer ratings? if you like their ale???

Christie's Club large club, free food OK. Stay open longer, but prices too dear. Beer is 100 Baht happy hour!

Vincent Van Gogh Club Happy hour prices all night Sunday. Small, intimate club, plenty of girls.
Renoir Club large club, but need better girls!

Degas Club small, intimate club with OK girls.

Goya Cold dingy hole last we heard.

Luciano's Club Cheapest Happy hour till 10.00 pm, other charge 80 Baht, they charge 70 Baht.

Big Shot's Worth a look. Bad Pool table upstairs. Happy hour until 22.00

Blu Bar BQ Australian Bar & Grill, big burgers, imported Australian beef. Drink prices after 9pm stay at 80 Baht. Good on the Aussies!!

Mondrian Its OK English speaking Thai Girls & DJ.

Monet Club 2 bars One up one down. Pool table upstairs. Plenty of pretty girls evening dresses but cost a heap.

Santana Club a bull's head in front. Mexican Santana theme. No big deal!

Napoleon Club 8 ball pool tables and full size snooker table. Worth a look.

Chelsea Bar/Club ordinary bar, Girls wear shorts-T-shirts. Happy hours to 9.00 pm. Friday night free food? But check first as it may have changed.

Bacchus Larger bar in the new 33 Complex building. Dull place.

Richmond Club Australian owned, small bar with girls but worth a drink or 2.

Dali Club after Salvador Dali paintings! Nice, good service, girls but you buy them drinks??. Sexy Show 11.00pm Friday nights

Lucky Luciano's girls, & expensive beer 10 Baht a bottle more than others? Plays old 70's music so not worth it.

Wall Street OK. Have a laptop which changes beer prices, girls OK, worth a try! Happy Hour prices all Sunday night. Pool, Karaoke upstairs.

33 Centre Beer 80 Baht all night! Really a barber and massage shop with rough girls.,

Madame Claude Thru a carpark behind the 33 Complex. Nice white decor,& new. It's done up like a tartie French you know what inside.

Every bar in Soi 33 will send a girl to the restaurant of your choice, and bring your meal back to the bar for you. Bars and clubs get on together and often have regular "party nights" that never clash. Free food and party nights have freebies.

Hey there's just too many in Bangkok so take your pick from outside noodle stores to fabulous world reknown restaurants.

Fueng Fah Thai restaurant, fresh seafood thai food. Oam Tong Newly located in 33 Complex, good Thai food but expensive. Music from next door comes thru the wall. Not so good.

On 33 Odd choice of position, behind 33 Complex and out of sight from passing customers. Menu consists of pictures. Walk up the entry to the car park between Setsu and Bacchus. Pan Pan Italian restaurant, OK.

Ristorante Fino Italian restaurant has garden setting with air con if required. Robin Hood for everything you love and typical old English Pub style. Like all English Pubs its not cheap but has the atmosphere. Soi33/1 OK.

Nana Entertainment Plaza, opposite Nana Hotel, is a three-story building with an enclosed courtyard. The entire building and courtyard are full of bars. Most are of the go-go (aka "a-go-go") type with female dancers. Lady boys (transvestites) work in one bar on the 2nd floor (which in the west is the first floor) & there are no gay bars. The drinks are dear 125 baht for a beer & around 90-110 for a coke with a lady drink the same so watch your pocket and check your bins to make sure they aren't overloaded especially if yourve had a few to drink. Bar fines 600 baht. Also make sure when you give a 1000 baht note that you tell the waitress what youve paid. Nana starts around 8:00 PM till 2am which may change to even shorter hours. The Nana Complex is dirty, run down and watch out for your wallets--- as its a dump really but looks great at night time.

Woodstock music & sports, Restaurant & pub has a new website under http://www.woodstockbkk.com Not a girlie bar but been around for years. Has good meals and pool and right in the heart of the Nana Plaza Complex upstairs 2nd floor.

Feb 19th 2004 in the Carousel Bar on the 3rd floor one of our readers was robbed of his Australian cash when he took a girl home. Some girls are desperate but not all. We visited on this night and there were only 4 foreigners in the joint . A warning to everyone who takes a girl back to your Hotel. Let her have a shower first then hide your wallet and camera etc as you may find the girl missing in the morning and your cash? THE Good News: the next night he went back again to the bar and the lady Thai owner made the girl pay most of the money back --- lucky for him as the Thai owner used to live in Australia & our friend was an Aus --- so remember you guys who come here. You may be the next mug!!! but not all are bad.
